Panama Beachfront Condos Blog - Santa Clara Residences Updates, News & Information

Panama’s Pacific Gold Coast and the Beachfront Condos that dot the area.

Along panama’s beautiful pacific gold coast there is an interesting assortment of great white sandy beaches and many luxury beachfront condos to choose from. This is a report of what we have found to be some of the most appealing beachfront projects in this area.

As you leave the city and go pass the Bridge of The Americas you will pass Arraijan, then Chorrera, unto Capira, then Cerro Campana at which point you will be able to catch you first glimpse of the famous Pacific Gold Coast Beaches, first one you see is Punta Chame. The first beach we come across that has an interesting project is Gorgona beach.

In Gorgona there is the very cool looking “Bahia” A Luxury Beachfront Community Project. The Bahia project consist of two stunning towers and tranquil garden villas, the towers are available with three different options to choose from, all with high end finishes, amazing panoramic views to the ocean and mountains, grand balconies, and 9ft floor to ceiling heights. Bahia at Serena Beach will have a total of approximately 210 units consisting of 2 bedroom apartments that range from 104 mt2 to 120 mt2. This building contains everything from 24/7 security, to a fitness center and swimming pool. Although this is a lovely property, Gorgona is quite a distance from the Interamerican highway and it is not as picturesque as other beachfront communities, though the beach is quite nice with great views of the neighboring Coronado Beach Community.

A bit further down the road heading west on the interamerican highway is Coronado beach. In Coronado there is the Coronado Bay Project, which consist of different sized apartments that range from 91 mt2 to 120 mt2. These beachfront condos contain a living/dining room, kitchen, laundry room, balcony and 1.5 bathrooms. The Coronado Bay apartments are very nice but they are a bit small, and hence are not designed to accommodate a family comfortably as they only contain one single bedroom. The project is located in an ideal area of Coronado and has one of Coronado’s most popular beaches in front of it. Coronado is a very popular getaway for many Panamanians, who have been coming to this beachfront community for years. It does get a bit crowded during popular weekends such as Carnival, and other holiday weekends throughout the year.

Also in Coronado there is the Coronado Golf Project, which consists of beachfront apartments ranging from 1,108 sq. ft. for a one bedroom, and 1,721 sq. ft. for a two bedroom. The project consists of two independent three- level towers with 128 units. All the apartments have beautiful views to the Pacific Ocean, the golf course or the landscaped gardens. The project also contains a Clubhouse with Tennis Court, Children’s Playground, Jacuzzi and Swimming Pools.

There is a generalized problem with properties in Coronado is its popularity. Coronado is very popular for Panamanians on the weekend and because of this the area becomes very crowded and hence can be a stressful place to be if you want a relaxing weekend away from the chaos of city life.

In San Carlos there is the Vista Mar Project consists of apartments ranging from 1668 sq ft to 2575 sq ft. This is a wonderful project for anyone who loves a game of golf with a 6,800-yard par 72-championship golf course and dual directional driving range. Even if you are not a fan of golf the project has a Junior Olympic Size Swimming Pool, Spa and Fitness Center, Lighted Tennis Courts, and A Private Members Bar. Although this is a lovely project due to its vicinity to the interamerican highway it can be noisy and therefore is not perfect for a quiet peaceful relaxing time.

In El Higo there is the Bijao Project consists of Single-Family Homes (3,044 Sq. Ft. to 5,136 Sq. Ft.) Balboa Condominiums (1,767 Sq. Ft. to 2,193 Sq. Ft.) Cocoli Tower Condominiums (1,070 Sq. Ft. to 2,108 Sq. Ft.) Gaillard ( 1,413 Sq ft. To 1,435 Sq. Ft ). The Bijao Project will feature a Breezes known for its world class resorts in Jamaica, it is being heralded as the first Breezes Resort ever to grace the shoreline of the Pacific Ocean.

In Santa Clara there is the Santa Clara Beach Residences that consist of a various different apt types and sizes that range from 1243 sq ft for a one bedroom + Studio to a 459 sq mt (4,940 sq ft) penthouse. Sitting on the wonderful Santa Clara beach you have your dream home in the sun. Where Sunrise meets Sunset, the Santa Clara Residences represents an idyllic project in an idyllic setting. Santa Clara Beach has always been a favorite of the locals since it has a long stretch of white sandy beach that is protected by Isla Farallon. In this particular area of Santa Clara is very quiet and peaceful and the residents will be able to enjoy its privacy but at the same time be close to the action, since it will be next to Playa Blanca Resort, the Decameron beach and casino, The Hard Rock Hotel Panama and Nikki Beach Residences among others.
